Ekaterina Iragui, the owner of the gallery, who started her career in Paris, opened the gallery in Moscow in 2008.
The gallery actively collaborates with modern artists in conceptual art – both already known in the West (Pavel Pepperstein, Arkady Nasonov, Sergey Anufriev) and emerging artists (Olga Bozhko, Valeria Nibiru). The gallery helps the Russian artists to become a part of the international artistic community, promoting their artworks in diverse art institutions. Galerie Iragui presents the Russian artists on European art stage, contributing to their involvement in international projects and integration into the world’s artistic process, as well showing the latest tendencies of modern European art in Russia.
